Moved

I finished moving to my downtown apartment this weekend. Thanks to those that helped.

This morning I *walked* to McDonalds for breakfast. They have free iced coffee on Mondays, and it is pretty good. I suggest giving it a try.

My plan for getting rid of cable might not work out that well. I was hoping that I could get good reception for the major networks downtown, but it seems that all the tall buildings obstruct the reception too much. I get channel 9 (ABC) perfectly, but the rest are pretty messy. NBC doesn't come in at all. Not even a bit. Most of the shows I watch are on NBC. Fortunately, NBC puts most of it's shows online. But I don't know if I'll be able to stand watching shows on my computer for very long.

hmm. I would not be able to watch tv on my computer. I have comcast and it's cheaper to get the internet with the cable, so I have just the local channels. So I guess I didn't really get rid of cable, I just got rid of the cable channels. hmmm. definitely a good thing but man is it hard to give up the dvr!!
